Michael Reese
Criminal Defense Attorney

Michael Reese

With over 26 years of legal experience, my legal career began as an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting many different types of cases, ranging from misdemeanor crimes to serious felonies and even death penalty cases. The trial experience I gained was invaluable. I personally handled over 200 jury and bench trials to verdict.  As I rose through the ranks, I was promoted to the Lead Prosecutor supervising the Economic Crime, White-Collar, and Elderly Exploitation division; I passionately pursued justice for the vulnerable in our community.

Throughout the next two decades, I refined my advocacy skills, representing individuals in many different areas of law and courtrooms across the state of Florida. During this period, my thirteen-year tenure as a partner in a prestigious national firm reshaped the focus of my practice. Having witnessed the plight of injured, victimized, disabled, and marginalized persons struggling to navigate an increasingly complex legal system and protect their rights, I renewed my efforts to defend those who couldn’t defend themselves.

Driven by a commitment to fixing these injustices, I worked hard to provide these individuals with the very best representation possible. This hard work paid off. It led to a significant increase in favorable rulings for my clients, dismissals of their charges, and trial victories. Our strategic and well-organized case presentations can break down the barriers erected by the government.

Today, boasting a record of thousands of successful client representations throughout not only the state of Florida but nationally as well, my practice is dedicated to criminal defense. Every case is focused on giving personalized attention to my clients and a non-stop dedication to securing justice for them.

Your fight is my fight, and together, we will strive for the fairness and resolution you deserve.
